Martin

I make pretend things

Born and raised in rural New Brunswick, Jake Martin is an actor, writer and comedian. He has performed coast-to-coast across Canada, including as member of the Canadian Comedy award-winning sketch comedy troupe “The Sketchersons”.

He is a Second City Toronto Sketch Conservatory alum, the former Artistic Director of Next Folding Theatre, and his scripts have been performed around the globe. His short comedy “Someone Gets Shot” was part of a collection that was shortlisted for the Carol Tambor Best of Edinburgh Fringe Award. He is currently slithering around with his current solo sketch show, “Snakes Are Cool”.
